Why did I decide to start a blog?!
I don't know for sure, I suppose it was the enjoyment I have gotten out of reading so many friends' blogs. Many of you offer advice, knowledge, a good laugh, photos, updates on your life, or, in a technological way, that sigh of relief that you too have experienced ups and downs in life. So anyway, I thought if I love reading others' blogs I might enjoy creating one myself.
The first battle was the title.
I decided to refer to my blog as our "dash". I was recently shown a video, The Dash (I recommend checking it out). In the video they refer to the life we "run", as our dash. This video forces you to pause and reflect on the important things in life. That being said, you will probably not find profound statements or stories on this blog, but rather a small representation of the Dash we are fanatically participating in.
So who are We?
Well... Our little family is very little and very big. We consist of: Jordan, my wonderful husband, sports enthusiast, kid at heart, best friend, enthusiastic optimist, terrific teacher, beautiful blue eyed main man; Teddy (Ted, named for Teacher Education), our hyper yet snuggly, animated and spirited, four legged baby; and Me. That is the little part. The big part is the amazing parents, siblings, and friends that we enjoy spending time playing cards/games, grilling out, traveling, camping, grabbing a drink, going for a walk or bike ride, and of course chit chatting with. We also have a combined 42 second graders that we refer to as "our kids".
