We enjoyed our first official family summer vacation as a family of three! We ventured up to Minneapolis. The main attraction of our vacation was America's favorite pass time. Jordan wanted to be sure that he did the fatherly thing by taking Myles to see Derek Jeter play in his final season.

Myles traveled perfectly stretching out and we all enjoyed our picnic lunch at the rest area before making it to the game. We scored some pretty wonderful seats, which due to sun and heat Myles and I only enjoyed for a little while. After the game we introduced Myles to his cousin Paige and feasted on a delicious supper with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins. Myles was a trooper considering he had no afternoon nap to speak of.

The shade finally covered our seats...too bad we were already all sweaty :)
|
We made some friends when we had to walk around the stadium during extra innings to keep Myles happy!

Daddy was in heaven... although the climate was that of hell ;)
After a good night of rest we woke up enjoyed some breakfast and hot tub and allowed Myles to catch a little bit of a normal nap in his pack and play. We started day two nice and slow and then we hit the mall. Myles made a good shopping partner. We found some good deals and Myles received a few compliments on his good behavior and cute factor. We ended the night with dinner downtown. We sat outside, Myles snuggled up to me in his Moby wrap and slept, while we enjoyed some quality time talking and sipping on drinks while eating a delicious supper.

Monday we again woke up slow and stopped by Ikea for a few necessitates for Myles and our classrooms. After a little car time we pit stopped to shop for the little man at a couple outlet stores (sadly they didn't have that many good deals). About a half hour from Clear Lake Myles informed us that he was sick of the car so we pulled off and enjoyed some of our favorite OP pizza, while he kicked and stretched to his hearts content. The last leg of the trip was uneventful and we all enjoyed sleeping soundly in our own beds!

Someone slept well!
