3 Months New

Myles you are officially 3 months new and such a busy baby. You seem to really be growing big

and round these days and we absolutely love all your little baby rolls!  You are a smiling machine and quite the talker.  Lately your talking is very loud and clear.  The other day it sounded like you were trying to repeat after Daddy (not real words of course but the intonation followed the same pattern).  You have found your hands and love to put them in your mouth and drool all over.  You
love reading books these days especially if we lay down with you to read them.  Another favorite lately has been singing songs with Mama, luckily you don't mind mommy's voice.  Your 2 favorites as far as I can tell are, "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes", and "If You're Happy and You Know It".  You are getting very strong and have pretty good control of your noggin these days.  We are waiting for you to decide you want to roll over.  I say decide because I am pretty confident you are strong enough to do it.

 You are so busy you are struggling with sleeping a little.  You have typically slept great from 10 or 11 p.m. until 4 or 5 a.m.  lately we have been up many times in the night.  So actually today, the day after your 3 month birthday, we went to the Dr. to get you all checked over to see if there is something bothering you or if we should be trying to let you cry or just see what we can do to help you little Puffaroo.  The Dr. told us you were looking healthy and there wasn't anything she could see that would be causing you to wake up.  She said we definitely weren't starving you as you weigh a big 14 lbs. 10 oz.  Mama was frustrated when we left the Dr.'s office because we didn't really get any answers, but we will have to try some sort of sleep training with you soon and hopefully by the next time I write about you, it will be to say you are sleeping through the night!

We had a busy month enjoying our first family vacation!  You did great and that is good news because we will soon be headed on a vacation with the Jacobsons and then with Mama's family.
