5 Months and Growing!

Hey there good-lookin!

Well Buddy Boo you are now a big 5 months old!  You are growing so big and strong.  You officially roll both ways.  You have decided that most nights you would prefer to not sleep all night but rather have a midnight snack or snuggle. As much as I hate the lack of sleep we are getting these days I do look forward to the morning, when I know I will go in and you will turn and look up at me with a big toothless smile.

Speaking of teeth... no you don't have any yet but one has to be coming the way you gnaw on everything and drool like your life depends upon it.  You are starting to get more sturdy and will sit for a second or two before face planting.  You love sitting up in your high chair, walker or bumbo to watch everything going on around you.  You have your mama's love of fall and taking in the crisp air and warm sun that it brings.  We spend as much time as we can outside. We are looking forward to enjoying the changing of leaves as they are just starting to turn.  You seem to be enjoying your cereal these days and we are looking forward to testing out some food next month.  You are getting some good hand eye coordination down and you are so observant.  It is fun to see you stare at new things and respond with a heartwarming smile or an adorably huge pouty lip.  To say you enjoy talking is the understatement of the century.  You LOVE talking and screaming, squealing, squawking, etc. You have recently starting smacking your lips and making other silly noises that are adorable to your doting parents.  You also go to town kicking your feet often and I have taken to calling you Thumper.
