Muffin Top

Well I haven't updated this in a while and I thought I would go ahead and fill you in on what is going on in our world.  We are officially at week 15.  I am anxious to get a baby bump, but so far it seems that I merely have a muffin top and develop a food baby rather easily after supper (I will post a picture soon since a few of you have asked, but let me tell you its not exciting or pretty).  Tomorrow I have another appointment and I am anxious to hear that fast itty bitty heart ticking away in there.  We have enjoyed being able to talk about it and tell people what is really going on.  I am enjoying not having to make excuses for my early bed time and why I don't want to have a drink.  It is all seeming much more real.

My mama and I went crib and rocker shopping (I offered for Jordan to go but after looking at the five hundred I had tagged online he told me he trusted me...What a great husband) and that is one overwhelming but fun experience.  I am hoping to make my decision soon so I can order a few things and begin the nesting stage and put Jordan's painting skills to good use.

I am enjoying having an appetite again and I have a feeling I may not be loosing weight anymore at my appointment tomorrow. I am definitely craving anything with cheese involved.  Potatoes and pasta rank pretty high on the list too.  Pickles and ice cream which I have always loved I still love (no not together, I haven't had any ridiculously weird ones yet)!  One consistent food has been goldfish (so Jenn likes to call the baby Goldie which is a nice nickname since after spending the night and enjoying a morning with me she decided to nickname our poor little babe comet because it rhymes with _________).  Another nickname our little babe has already gained is puff.  This one came from my mom in a random conversation and has stuck with us.

I am looking forward to feeling our little babe move and seeing my belly grow (I know I will regret that soon enough).
We are enjoying football season being done, and we survived fall conferences.  We are looking forward to the chaos of Halloween passing and spending some time this weekend celebrating my mama's birthday (She is a Halloween baby, so happy early birthday mama! Love You!)
