The Homestretch

We are hitting the home stretch!  We couldn't be more excited to meet this baby boy, which is good because we keep getting reminded, "Ready or not here he comes!"  While it seems like it is a struggle to get everything on our little to do lists checked off we realize that all the necessary gidgets and gazmos for those first few days are in place and ready to go (other than our rocker which was suppose to be in this week at the latest and now has been assured to me that it will be this week grrrrrrr......) are checked and ready.  Which may be a good thing since even though we went down in our weight a little, we are measuring 39 wks instead of 36.  Hopefully this baby has a little chunk on him when he comes out that makes him extra cute!  We are now set to have another ultrasound next week to double check his growth and fluids. Dr. says it is nothing to be concerned about so we are going to take her word on it.

Many people have predicted him to be an early bird (not like his mother) but if nesting has anything to do with it I am not sure he will be here any time soon.  Most days a nap sounds twice as good as getting anything at all done.  I have managed to get most things organized and ready to go for my sub at school and will be meeting with her tomorrow to check things over and be sure she has what she needs incase I go early.  Only 2 and a 1/2 more weeks of teaching for this year. I seriously can't believe that!  Anyway.... school should be mostly taken care of and after this week and that rocker arrives we should have home under control too!  I will try to post some pictures of the little guys nursery once it is ready to go!  But in the mean time here are some pictures of him :)

We celebrated Mama's birthday this week so you were

and organize to prepare for you!!!!

You are a growing boy!  Mommy has lost a couple pounds, but you are still growing and this week you measured 39 wks are out apt. so we will have an ultrasound next week.  P.S. could you please stop sticking your booty out, I know it is cute, but it is very uncomfortable!  Daddy also got lots of diapers this week for your booty at a diaper shower from the guys!
