You seem to be a sweet, soft hearted little boy, and boy do we love you!
Today you are two months old baby! Where has time gone?! Sometimes it seems like so long ago that we brought you home and other days it doesn't seem possible you could be this old. We are still ridiculously in love with you and I know that will never change. Today as we did your photo shoot in your adorable tie and onesie you were full of the stone face model look, but let me tell you little nugget that you are usually full of smiles!!! The last couple weeks we have enjoyed you looking right up at us and opening that mouth to give us a big gummy smile. We love our Smiles from Myles.

You were making mommy work for those smiles and they weren't too big today!

Hard to smile while you are talking!
This month started off a little rocky with lots of tears. You had a serious bout of acid reflux and Mama could tell you were in pain and hated that there was nothing she could do. We changed up a few things and Mommy had to do a dairy free diet for two weeks to rule out a milk allergy, but now we have some medicine and you seem to be getting along loads better than before. Daddy is always good to us when we have our days (ours usually coincide). Daddy is done with school now and we have enjoyed having him around more and helping in the night time ;) Speaking of night time you are a big boy now sleeping in your crib and going pretty consistently 6 hours in between nighttime feeds! During the day you are still eating about every 3-4 hours. When we went in to meet with the lactation consultant about your acid reflux you were 5 weeks old and you weighed 11 lbs. 3 oz. You are eating about 4-5 oz. Then when we went to the Dr. to get you medicine last week you were 12 lbs. You are not missing out on meals and you are gaining the cutest rolls ever to show it off (You definitely cary your weight well). Next week we go in for your two month apt and we will see how much you have gained and how tall you have grown. Daddy is sure hoping you will be a big boy!

This month we also had a few more firsts. You attended your first wedding (a high school friend, Max). It was in Cedar Rapids so this was also your first overnight stay (2 night in the hotel and you did great). You also attended your first Scandinavian Days. Judging by your reaction to the fireworks (which you slept right through even across the street from where they were) and the parade (full of honks, sirens, loud motors and screaming kids) you must sleep like Daddy. We helped Grandpa, Papi and Uncle Nic celebrate their birthdays this month too. You also had your first blow out... not cool! You have a few new favorite things: Your jungle gym kick and play (you are quite the piano man), your swing, talking and smiling (this started consistently around week 5), laying outside on a blanket, and you still love your paci, lights, eating and the ceiling fan. While baths still aren't your favorite you haven't been crying during them. Today however, your bath was in the sink due to some plumbing issues (which this mama forgot about so she also got to clean water out of the basement while you napped) and you weren't a huge fan.

Starting to put your hands and anything in the way in your mouth.
To say you have changed our lives for the better is an understatement, in two months you have taught us so much and we can't wait to learn more from you! We love you to the moon and back infinity times Myles Jordan!
