8 Months New

Myles, I don't know that I thought I would possibly be able to love you more, but each day I am amazed by the love and joy I find just being with you.  Spending time with you reminds me to think about what is important.  Your focus of the day is snuggling, playing, sleeping, eating, and just genuinely loving and being happy.  Well, like I said I could love on you all day everyday and I am not sure that will ever change.  So, now you are 8 month old!

Well you are a tank buddy, you absolutely love to eat.  You think feeding yourself is a the newest and best trick ever.  You really think this now that you have two little chompers to help crush up that food.  Your new favorite is avocado and banana. Over Thanksgiving we had a rough go of sleeping after watching those two boogers push through.  Getting those teeth was some hard work on all of us, but it lead mom to finally agree to crying it out and we are now in a place where most nights are good, some are bearable, and others are fantastic!

Other than eating I think you favorite thing is the bath tub.  You love that you are getting big enough to sit on you own and splish splash.  You love to suck the water out of the wash cloth and your squishy basketball and football.  Some nights mom gets a bath along with you!

You are also a man on the move these days.  Your army crawl is fantastic and so fun to watch.  I am not sure you will ever decide to crawl with your belly up off the ground but you get where you are going.  Teddy is beginning to get a little nervous around you, but overall it is even more fun to watch you two play. Baby proofing is something we are working on.  Mommy is having a hard time getting rid of some of her pretties and clearing space for your moving body (your favorite pretty is Mama's white vase with twig lights in it).  You also love the tree.  You don't really bother it, you just like to lay under it and reach up at the lights and ornaments.  We are excited to celebrate our first Christmas together!!!!

I am pretty sure that I plant at least a couple hundred kisses on your squishy cheeks, fuzzy head, round belly, or stinky toes.  Speaking of our fuzzy head, it draws quite the crowd.  Everyone loves your fuzzy hair that stands on end like you stuck your finger in the socket.  Apparently Daddy had hair like this when he was little too.  Grandma assured me that eventually it gets too long and heavy that it will lay down. As for your toes... You have the chubbiest feet ever!!!! A few people saw them the other day when you pulled your socks off and referred to them as "sumo feet".  I mean who wouldn't want to kiss all those adorable surfaces, right?!

This sums up how easy it is to take your pictures now that you are super mobile!

We are going to be in trouble soon with that grin :)

A quick snap before you flipped over!

Stretch it out!

Even you love your chubby feet!

So serious all of the sudden!
