The Sheahan's Dash: Double Digits... 10 Months

Seems like there is something changing each day buddy. You make a new face, sound, or some new trick each day. One of your more recent sounds is this evil little giggle you do. Often it comes right after you and Daddy build with blocks and then you decide to knock them down (such an appropriate time). It is priceless. Your favorite sounds, a.k.a. "words" are still "Dah!""Yeah", "Bah", etc. Your crawling skills are top notch and you pull up on everything! You love to play hide and seek. Mommy or Daddy will crawl behind a corner or door and you come around the corner and we jump out and yell, "Boo!" You jump out of your skin then giggle like you just watched a video of your initial reaction. You are rarely sitting in your crib when we go into get you. Usually you start squawking away, then progress to sitting up, and ultimately to standing there yelling. I am pretty sure you are saying, "Hello!!!! Wow that sleep was amazing! Now come and get me. Mom? Dad?"

Some things have not changed, like your interest in food. Luckily you are now sporting 6 teeth to help with all those new foods. You are able to eat quite a variety of things these days. Vegetables still rank higher than most fruits. You are still a huge fan of, "If You're Happy and You Know It", no matter what version of the song kicks in just music or words you don't miss a beat before clapping away. However, that is all you choose to do for each verse...clap. Daddy loves to "play catch" with you. Mommy helps you out a little so that those bullets daddy throws don't bounce right off your chest and back down to the floor.

Mommy had the best birthday ever. Do you know why it was the best? It was because you helped me celebrate. We enjoyed supper out on my birthday. Then you had an overnight with MiMi and Papi so Mommy and Daddy could go out to a kid free supper and a trip to Mommy's favorite store! Apparently you were a big fan of helping Mimi bake some cookies and be the taste tester. I have a sneaky suspicion that won't be the last time that happens.

One final thing hasn't changed and will never change. Daddy and I love you more and more each day and we will love you forever and ever buddy. We can only hope that down the road when you get mad at us you still love us back deep down inside. Luckily you still bounce back pretty quick at this point from being told no. We love you so much Stinky Pete, Buddy Boo, Mr., Bub, Sweet Boy, Myles!
