This weekend we got to experience a little "Glamping". For any of you who are Glamping virgins like me. It can be defined as glamourous camping. We enjoyed Saturday afternoon and well into the night glamping in style with a few friends. We had all the necessities: lawn chairs, a fire pit, the makings for smores, running water, flushing toilets, and an RV :) It was tons of fun other than the lack of sleep we got from the men giggling into the night. Then next day my parents met us at Pine Lake and we did some kayaking canoeing on the Iowa River. We saw all kinds of wild life (Blue Heron, a few fish that my dad caught, frog, deer, cows, bald eagle, some four legged animal that scurried to fast to be seen, and lots of beautiful scenery) and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Glamping will definitely need to happen again!
